Students need to develop effective communication skills. This involves
- appreciating the content and context of a range of communication forms
- being able to listen, view and respond

This dimension focuses on developing
- student understanding of communication conventions
- strategies to assist them to make meaning of communication forms
- an ability to deconstruct and respond to a diversity of forms
- familiarity with forms, language and conventions used in different contexts across the curriculum.

Presenting
All learners need to be able to present new knowledge in a coherent and appropriate manner.
This dimension involves students gaining the KSBs
- to understand context, purpose and audience;
- select and use appropriate structure and organisation to convey meaning;
- reflect on the style and content of the presentations they make.
